GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Hundreds of youth soccer players were at Monument Mountain Regional High School on Sunday for the annual Monument Cup 3-on-3 tournament.   Championships were decided in six different age groups after a day of round-robin play followed by finals on the varsity field.   In the 14-and-under girls division, the Williamstown Rush Hour defeated the Berkshire Hills Hot Shots in the title match. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- The MCLA volleyball team received 12 kills from Chloie Garber to lead the Trailblazers to a 3-0 win over visiting SUNY Delhi in the Amsler Campus Center Gym.   MCLA moves over .500 to 3-2 while the Broncos drop to 4-3 on the young season.   MCLA (3-2) was challenged in the first two sets but they held off the Broncos.  The Trailblazers collected set wins of 25-23 and 25-22 to take a hard fought 2-0 lead. They eventually closed out the visitors with a convincing 25-18 win in the third.   Garber was solid again with her 12 kills on 28 attacks. She added six digs for MCLA. PITTSFIELD, Mass. — A memorial hockey game in honor of Pittsfield native Marc Parrott will be held at the Boys and Girls Club ice rink on Nov. 26, at 4 p.m.    Parrott passed away on Aug. 10, leaving a legacy as a devoted husband and father, and a standout baseball and hockey player. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The North Adams Elks, Lodge #487, along with the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition, will be hosting a Hoop Shoot contest on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Brayton Hill Park.   The Elks Hoop Shoot is a free throw contest, and it is free and for boys and girls aged 8-13 by April 1, 2022.      The winners advance through the Lodge, District, State, Regional, and National levels.
