BENNINGTON, Vt. — The 27th Annual Masters in the Mountains Golf Tournament on Sept. 9 at the Taconic Golf Club, hosted 32 teams and raised more than $110,000 in net proceeds for Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC).   "We are so pleased to have been back together again for our annual Masters in the Mountains Tournament," said Leslie Keefe, SVHC's vice president for corporate development. DALTON, Mass. -- Pairs of golfers in four divisions took home honors at Wednesday's Berkshire County Fall Senior Golf event at Wahconah Country Club.   Paul Briggs and Ron Carver won the Blue Gross Division with a score of 67. The Blue Net Division went to Dennis Boldyga and Robert Smith with a 59.   In the Green Division, the gross title went to Bill Gates and Paul Traversa. BELCHERTOWN, Mass. -- The MCLA golf team wrapped up its 2021 fall campaign this afternoon in the final round of the Elms Invitational. DALTON, Mass. -- The Williamstown Soccer Club earned three titles at this weekend's 24th annual Just for Kicks Soccer Tournament.   The two-day tourney contested on fields at Wahconah Regional High School and Nessacus Middle School attracted 48 teams from throughout Western Massachusetts.   Williamstown's under-12 girls, the Flash, won their title game, 4-2, over the Pittsfield Soccer Club Tigers.   Williamstown also picked up a pair of boys titles.   The Williamstown U12 Vipers beat Gateway, 2-0, in the title game. FITCHBURG, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) announced Tuesday that a small population of the invasive spotted lanternfly has been found in the City of Fitchburg, close to where a lanternfly nymph was reported earlier this summer.    Agricultural inspectors are in the middle of performing surveys in the area, but currently the infestation is limited to a single cluster of three trees. While MDAR has not been able to determine the origin of the infestation, spotted lanternflies have been known to travel out of infested states on cars, trucks, and trains, during shipments of produce, sheds, and gazebos, trees and shrubs for landscaping, and
