 NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Eathan Joseph had a double-double Wednesday for the Eagle Hill basketball team in a 60-45 win over Berkshire Arts and Technology Charter. Joseph scored 19 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked a couple of shots for Eagle Hill, which used a 26-6 third quarter to break open a five-point game. The Wolf Pack got 17 points and 10 rebounds from Samseedy Touray and 15 points from Jsaun Griffin. FITCHBURG, Mass. -- The Fitchburg State women's basketball team Saturday shot 35 percent from behind the 3-point line en route to a 62-39 win over MCLA.  Framingham State senior point guard Gwendolyn Carpenter last month broke the all time assist record at the school. Her 466th career assist came in a win over Curry College on Dec. 9, breaking a 5-year-old school record. Carpenter was averaging more than seven assists per game going into Wednesday's home game against Westfield State. She also led the Rams (11-1) in minutes played, averaging 36.8 minutes per contest and had scored 9.4 points per game. Carpenter is no stranger to breaking records.
