NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Rotary beat H.A. George on Monday night at Fallon Field in the Northern Berkshire Independent Youth Baseball Championship Game.   The Rotary team was coached by Jim Barrett and Eric Valliers and included: Alex Carrigan, Chase George, Ethan Thoresen, Hayden Barrett, Hunter Lancto, Jayden Dean, Joshua Field, Leighton Grant, Parker Kennedy, Paul George and Ryder Lefebvre.   Jude Collins and Erik Phillips coached H.A. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Antonio Guerrero went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and six RBIs Monday to lead the Valley Blue Sox to a 10-5 win over the SteepleCats at Joe Wolfe Field in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.   Jevon Mason went 4-for-4, and Sam Franco had a double, a triple and three RBIs for the Blue Sox, who improved to 11-7.   William Binder homered, and Cedric Rose doubled for the SteepleCats.   North Adams (4-14) goes to Bristol on Wednesday.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Ryan Galanie hit a game-tying double and scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th Friday as the North Adams SteepleCats defeated Ocean State, 6-5.   Tyler Epstein went 3-for-4 and scored a run. Hunter Pasqualini was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run.   Cooper Omans and Nate Beal combined to throw six innings of one-run ball.   North Adams (4-11) goes to Danbury on Saturday.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Ryan Ignoffo homered twice and drove in nine runs Sunday to lead the Upper Valley Nighthawks to a 19-8 win over the North Adams SteepleCats.   The Nighthawks got 18 hits, including four doubles -- two from Nicholas Fazzari.   Brady Mutz went 2-for-2 with a double for North Adams (3-9), which goes to Danbury on Tuesday.

SANFORD, Maine -- Cooper Omans Friday threw six scoreless innings to lead the North Adams SteepleCats to a 2-0 win over the Sanford Mainers.   Omans allowed three hits, walked two and struck out five.   Austin McKinney threw one inning of relief, and Will Hearn struck out three over the last two innings to earn the save.   Ryan Galanie went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a five-hit attack for North Adams, which travels to Bristol on Saturday.

KEENE, N.H. -- Cedric Rose and three other North Adams SteepleCats homered Wednesday in a 9-5 win over the Swamp Bats in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.   The Taconic graduate and UMass-Lowell student hit his second round-tripper of the summer as the Cats picked up their second win of the season.   Alex Lane, Ryan Galanie and Kyle Hannon also homered in a nine-hit North Adams attack.   Johnnie Valdez earned the win on the mound, going 6-2/3 innings, striking out four and allowing four runs.   North Adams (2-7) is off on Thursday before traveling to Sanford, Maine, on Friday.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Jett Lovett hit a two-run double in the top of the seventh to help Danbury to a 3-2, come-from-behind win over North Adams en route to a double-header sweep on Sunday.   After taking the opener by a run, the Westerners took control of the nightcap with a six-run fifth inning to take a 6-2 lead, eventually winning 8-3.   North Adams (0-7) hosts North Shore on Tuesday.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. -- Ocean State used an error, two walks and a balk to rally for a walkoff, 9-8, win over the North Adams SteepleCats on Friday night.   North Adams took an 8-6 lead with a three-run rally in the top of the eighth, but the Waves came back to tie it in the bottom of the frame.   Taconic graduate Cedric Rose went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs to lead the SteepleCats offensively.   Four North Adams pitchers combined to allow 10 hits and eight earned runs.   North Adams (0-4) hosts Martha's Vineyard on Saturday evening.
