Drury's McGrath Leads Springfield College OffenseiBerkshires.com Sports,

 Drury High graduate Kayla McGrath has a team-high eight goals for the Springfield College women's soccer team this fall. Last week, she scored both Pride goals in a 2-0 win over Wellesley. McGrath's two game-winning goals this season is currently seventh in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference. She has played 29 games and has 10 starts over the last two seasons for Springfield, which was 8-4-5 overall (6-2-3 in the NEWMAC) in the regular season and opens the conference tournament on Tuesday against Smith. ADAMS, Mass. — Berkshire Arts & Technology (BArT) Charter Public School has announced the students who made the honor roll for the first quarter of the 2023-2024 school year.  BREWSTER, Mass. — Former state Rep. Timothy Whelan served his country in the Marine Corps Reserve from 1989 to 1994 as a lance corporal. He grew up in Worcester and was the youngest of three children. His father was a public school teacher and his mother was a registered nurse. In 1989, he took a leave of absence as a corrections officer with the Worcester Country Sheriff's Office to enlist in the Marine Reserve and attended boot camp at Parris Island, S.C. Parking bans are put into place to keep streets clear for plowing and emergency vehicle access during snow events. This list will be updated as more municipalities announce their parking bans. The Hospital Avenue Overlay District would cover only the property off Hospital Avenue owned by BMC that includes the former hospital building, the Clark House, Doctor's Building and Ambulatory Care Center. The second phase of Blackinton infrastructure project in North Adams is being funded by a $2 million Massworks grant. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The state's Executive Office of Economic Development has announced $164 million in grant funding through the Community One Stop for Growth application portal, including $7,824,400 for Berkshire County. North Adams received the highest amount in the county: $2.25 million for public and private development projects.
