North Adams Airport Hangar Still UnfinishedJack Guerino, iBerkshires Staff 06:00PM / Friday, February 23, 2024 | | NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Without electricity, the newly renovated North East hangar remains incomplete, although airport engineers hope to bring service to the city hangar in the coming months. "We are kind of at a standstill, and we have been at a standstill probably two months now," Stantec Engineer Peter Enzien told the commission Tuesday. Enzien, who is the airport's contracted engineer, said the city is waiting on National Grid to complete a redesign of the new service entrance to the building. With the help of loyal sponsors and runners, SGA has raised more than $30,000 for Berkshire-based organizations over the past two decades. This year, SGA has chosen Louison House as its 2024 not-for-profit beneficiary. Runners or walkers can register at www.mcla.edu/samgomez. The Ball will again be hosted at the North Adams Elks Lodge (100 Eagle Street); doors will open at 8:00 pm and festivities will conclude at midnight. The article, that was published Feb, 20. 2024, stated that the holding company's owner Todd Kletter told the Albany Business Review that "In principle, we have a deal," in regard to the purchase. The article continued that WP Strategic Holdings already listed Crane as one of its properties on its website, and Kletter told the Albany Business Review that he hoped to have Crane in operation this week. City Woman Wins Hometown Holidays Gift Basket |

Jonathan Secor had some help in pulling the winning ticket.
Congrats to Janet O'Neill of North Adams who won the big Hometown Holidays gift basket on Thursday. O'Neill won some $1,300 worth of gift certificates and merchandise.
The drawing could be entered by spending $50 downtown during the Thursday night Hometown Holiday events. Jonathan Secor of MCLA Gallery 51 said 62 people had entered the contest (including the editor of iBerkshires &mdash amazing how much cat toys cost nowadays).
