Keene, N.H., Tops SteepleCats in 10 InningsiBerkshires.com Sports, 10:40PM / Saturday, June 10, 2023 | | KEENE, N.H. -- Aidan Corn drew a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th to give the Keene Swamp Bats a 9-8 win over North Adams on Saturday night. Samuel Tackett homered twice and drove in three runs for North Adams, which also got a pair of hits from Benjamin Watson. The SteepleCats took advantage of eight walks and three Keene errors. North Adams (1-2) used five different pitchers. Nathaniel Chudy struck out six and allowed one hit and no runs in five innings of work. City Woman Wins Hometown Holidays Gift Basket |

Jonathan Secor had some help in pulling the winning ticket.
Congrats to Janet O'Neill of North Adams who won the big Hometown Holidays gift basket on Thursday. O'Neill won some $1,300 worth of gift certificates and merchandise.
The drawing could be entered by spending $50 downtown during the Thursday night Hometown Holiday events. Jonathan Secor of MCLA Gallery 51 said 62 people had entered the contest (including the editor of iBerkshires &mdash amazing how much cat toys cost nowadays).
