Ecu-Health Care Awarded Health Coverage Enrollment Grant| 12:36PM / Wednesday, November 15, 2023 | | NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation, a nonprofit grantmaking and research organization, announced the launch of a new grant program, Supporting Health Coverage Enrollment Efforts, that will support organizations statewide that help eligible people secure and maintain MassHealth (Medicaid) or other insurance coverage. The Foundation awarded a total of $600,000 to 10 community-based organizations located across the state.  BHS President Darlene Rodowicz says the zoning overlay would allow for multiple medical and health entities to operate on the hospital campus. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The Planning Board on Monday voted to recommend the creation of a hospital overlay district to the City Council. The vote came after a joint public hearing with the council on the proposal. The City Council is expected to vote on the ordinance Tuesday night. City Woman Wins Hometown Holidays Gift Basket |

Jonathan Secor had some help in pulling the winning ticket.
Congrats to Janet O'Neill of North Adams who won the big Hometown Holidays gift basket on Thursday. O'Neill won some $1,300 worth of gift certificates and merchandise.
The drawing could be entered by spending $50 downtown during the Thursday night Hometown Holiday events. Jonathan Secor of MCLA Gallery 51 said 62 people had entered the contest (including the editor of iBerkshires &mdash amazing how much cat toys cost nowadays).
Secor contacted O'Neill who was excited and surprised at winning. "No, I'm not kidding," Secor assured her
