Berkshire Botanical Bulb Show
Feb. 20 to March 20

Join the Berkshire Botanical Garden at the Fitzpatrick Greenhouse from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to welcome the new season amongst hundreds of flowering bulbs.

Day of Play with the Berkshire Museum
Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield
Time: 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Bring your kids to explore the Big Blue Blocks and the museum's Mobile Museum Unit. There will also be self-led STEAM stations.

Kids Concert
Colonial Theatre, Pittsfield
Time: Noon.
 
Terry A La Berry and Friends perform in the theater's Garage. His original songs and interactive experiences have left kids smiling and grooving, and earning recognition from Parents Choice Awards.

'Hope in History'
North Adams Public Library
Time: 11 a.m.
 
North Adams storyteller and scholar Desiree Taylor celebrates through story the pursuit of happiness that African Americans have taken on in an often hostile wider culture. This presentation explores the resources and hopes that people from all backgrounds and walks of life can glean inspiration from.

Apres Ski Party at Bousquet
Bousquet Mountain, Pittsfield
Time: noon to 4 p.m.

The ski resort's ski party returns for a second year featuring mixes by DJ Adam Oam. Enjoy skiing and riding from 9 to 8 and drinks and tunes at Bousquet's new restaurant Drifters Bar and Restaurant.

'Curious Festival of Unfinished Works'
Adams Theater, Park Street
Time: 7 p.m.

After a weeklong residency, puppeteers are excited to showcase their work. Bring your friends and family to enjoy a show created by David Lane.

Karaoke Party and Contest: Latin night
Methuselah Bar, Pittsfield
Time: 9 p.m.

Bring your friends and enjoy a night of singing and dancing for some great Latin-themed songs. Duet with your partner, and compete for a chance to win a $50 gift card. The winner is announced at midnight and must be present to win.

Bright Ideas on the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art Campus hosts stand-up comedians Jessica Levin, Levi White, and host Charlie Nadler.

Marionette Show: Hansel and Gretel

Art Call Workshop
Gallery North, North Adams
Time: 1 p.m.

Gallery North at 9 Eagle St. hosts a workshop for artists of all levels on selecting, preparing and submitting artwork to juried exhibitions and other art calls. Led local artist and curator Sean McCuster, who will provide practical advice and a demonstration on photographing artwork for submission.

Glen Meadow Loop Trail
Greylock Glen Outdoor Center, Adams
Time: 1 to 2:30 p.m.
 
Free easy-paced, 1- to 3-mile guided hikes are geared for seniors, but open to all ages. Hiking times may vary from 90 minutes to two hours. Be prepared for variable weather, wear appropriate clothing and sturdy boots.
 
Meet at the Outdoor Center on Gould Road; limited snowshoes available to reserve. Inclement weather cancels.
