To the Editor:
Mayor Macksey is a leader of integrity with strong commitment to North Adams. I've known her for decades — her grandmother and mine were sisters.
I was so proud of her when took decisive action to stop the harmful logging project on Notch Road. She saw the project's flaws. She put the tourist and habitat value of an unspoiled forest destination at the foot of Greylock as a priority. I hope you'll join in support her for another term. There's lots of work to be done.
