	SANFORD, Maine – Three Sanford pitchers combined on a two-hitter Friday as the Mainers beat the North Adams SteepleCats, 2-0, in the New England Collegiate Baseball League. 
	  
	Kyle Douin singled to drive in a run in the bottom of the fourth for the game’s first run. The Mainers tacked on a run in the eighth. 
	  
	Joshua Kopetski earned the win on the mound, striking out three and allowing one hit in six innings of work. 
	  
	Jake Foster was the hard-luck loser for North Adams after allowing one run in six innings of work on the hill. 
	  
	Alex Mendes and Nolan DeAndrade each had a hit for the SteepleCats. 
	  
	North Adams (16-17) is back at Joe Wolfe Field on Saturday at 6:30. It will be First Responders Night as the ‘Cats take on the Vermont Mountaineers.
