Mountain Day featuring Whiskey Treaty Roadshow

Time: 1 to 10:30 p.m.
Dance to the rhythm of The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow and other performers as mountains surround you. The ski resort's Mountain Day festival returns, featuring performances by Bella's Bartok, Vaguely Pagan, Love Crumbs, Jackson Whalan, and, of course, The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow. Information here.

Nature of our Mind Exhibit

July 18 through July 29, Thursday to Monday, 11-6 p.m.
Gail Gelburd's installation involves layered and multifaceted figures in water created using archival digital photographs, encaustic paint, collage, and gold leaves.
The exhibition creates an environment where nature is an analogy of our psyche, with floor art, wall pieces, and sculptures surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature to create an immersive experience for the viewer.

Screening of 'Turning Red'

Bring your own blankets, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages, and watch the Disney movie "Turning Red."

Allen Timmons Concert

There will be a concert in honor of local singer Allen Timmons. The event will be performed by many of his friends, including Teddy DiPietro and his band Sixties with a Chance of Rain and other special guests. More information here.
Annual David Grover Scholarship Concert

Time: 5:30 p.m.
The event is a tribute to David Grover and a fundraiser for Berkshire Theater Group's educational initiatives.
It will feature live music performances and comments from Kathy Jo Grover.
The goal is to support Berkshire Theater Group Plays year-round education programs and summer camps. Food will be available from La Chalupa y La Enchilada Food Truck.

Totally MAD! Artmaking Activities

Join the museum for an afternoon of art-making inspired by the magazine MAD every Saturday this summer.
Projects will highlight different aspects of MAD magazine, featuring recurring characters, comic strips, bits, and other highlights of its history through drawings, collages, and more.

Northern Berkshire Community Coalition presents a family-friendly movie each Saturday through Aug. 10 by the splash pad. Free with no registration required. Bring a blanket or chairs; showings are weather dependent. Movies are chosen by vote each month with "Inside Out" polling highest for Saturday night.
Rusted Chains Performance
Bright Ideas Brewing, North Adams

Berkshire County's Rusted Chains will be performing at the brewery. They pay tribute to '90s grunge and alt-rock with acoustic renditions of bands like Nirvana, Alice In Chains, and Stone Temple Pilots and mix in some electric vibes for a charged night of 90's music. More information here.

Comedians Tom Cotter and Kerri Louise will be performing. Tickets range from $27.25 to $42.25, including fees.
Cotter is a finalist on "America's Got Talent" and a well-known headliner at America's top comedy clubs, including The Comedy Cellar and The Improv.

Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival
Look Memorial Park, Northampton
Time: 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The 29th annual festival presents the best in Scottish and Celtic heritage with the sounds of bagpipes and drums to the smells of authentic Celtic foods and the sights of the traditional kilts. Athletic contests, musical performances, re-enactors, children's activities. Opening and closing ceremonies at 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.; Celtic Pub open to 8:30.

Johnny Cash Late and Alone

Time: 3 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Scott Moreau will be performing as Johnny Cash. The show features more than 20 songs from Cash's career and offers an intimate look into the life and times of this American icon and the album he never got the chance to make: "Late And Alone."
Moreau has been performing as Cash for 15 years and uses anecdotes from Cash's autobiography, interviews, and live concerts to tell Cash's story in character.

Walking with WordXWord
The Mount, Lenox

WordXWord poets will lead an exploration of the grounds and selected works in the Sculpture At The Mount exhibition.
The program meets at the Stable Auditorium, adjacent to the Upper Parking Lot. The event is free and open to all, but some poems may contain content or language suited for teens and adults. Participants should wear walking shoes as the event will involve standing and/or modest walks.

Artisan Fair
