NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Connor Nagy scored the first goal for the MCLA men's hockey team in 20 years and assisted on the game-tying goal as the Trailblazers earned a 2-2 tie with Fitchburg State on Thursday night.
Naby scored with an assist from Cody White in the first period, two minutes after MCLA fell behind, 1-0.
Then, five minutes into the third period, Nagy set up Addam Brunner for a goal to erase a 2-1 deficit.
Matthew Gover made 41 saves for MCLA (0-1, 0-1 MASCAC), which plays its first road game on Saturday when it visits Rivier College.
