NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Lee High graduate Elizabeth Brown Tuesday keyed a pivotal league victory for the MCLA volleyball team against Framingham State.

 

Brown finished with a match-high 12 kills and recorded a .357 hitting percentage.

 

She also made some big plays in the decisive third set.

 

Brown's kill capped a 6-2 run by the Trailblazers to open the third set, and she recorded two kills in a 5-1 run to end the set.

 

Shannon O'Brien had 23 assists in the 25-19, 25-23, 25-17 win.

 

With the win, MCLA (14-3, 3-1 MASCAC) stays in second place in the conference standings.

 

The Trailblazers host Salem State on Saturday for Senior Day at the Amsler Campus Center.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Four different players scored for Russell Sage in a 4-0 win over MCLA.

 

Wahconah graduate Eva Eberwein made 15 saves for the Trailblazers (3-8-2), who go to Fitchburg State on Saturday.
