NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Berkshire County Historical Society will host a cemetery tour of Hillside Cemetery.
The walk will take place on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 2 pm.
Join historian Jason Vivori for a walk through one of the historic cemeteries of northern Berkshire County and learn about some of the fascinating people laid to rest there. Including a personal friend of two United States Presidents, the attorney who invented a railroad brake, the Father of Archaeological Photography, two physicians who started a school, and an eyewitness to President Lincoln’s delivery of the Gettysburg Address.
Meet at the top of the hill off Brown Street. Participants should wear sturdy shoes and bring bug repellent.
The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 29 at 2 pm.
