SteepleCats Rally Past Martha's Vineyard for Home Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Jack Sefrino struck out four hitters, and SteepleCats Monday rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to earn a 4-2 win over Martha's Vineyard in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.
 
The Sharks scored in the top of the seventh to break a 1-1 tie.
 
In the bottom of the frame, Aiden Stewart drove in the tying run with a single to right, and he and DM Jefferson each scored on a wild pitch.
 
Will Tobin and Reed Interdonato each worked a scoreless inning on the mound to close out the game.
 
Sefrino started for North Adams and went seven innings, allowing two runs but just one earned run for his first win in seven outings for the team this summer.
 
Samuel Tackett and Hudson Polk each doubled and scored a run to lead North Adams' offense.
 
The SteepleCats (10-28) travel to Maine to play Sanford on Tuesday.
