NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Matthew Bergevin hit a one-out sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to give the Valley Blue Sox a 3-2 win over the SteepleCats at Joe Wolfe Field.

 

Aiden Stewart went 2-for-3 with an RBI  for North Adams, which got a hit and an RBI from Cedric Rose.

 

Jagger Jefferis threw three innings of scoreless relief for the Cats, allowing two hits and and no walks while striking out three.

 

North Adams (8-20) goes to Mystic, Conn., on Thursday.
