NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Sammy Moorman had a double-double Tuesday to lead the Drury High basketball team to a 76-29 win over McCann Tech in the B Division of the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.

 

Moorman scored 20 points and pulled down 17 rebounds in the win.

 

Jorge Bond hit seven 3-pointers on the way to a 25-point night. Myles Beauchamp and Donte Dillard each scored 10.

 

John Desrocher had seven points and eight rebounds to lead McCann Tech, which got 13 rebounds from Walter Mazza and 12 boards from Hector Montoya.

In Tuesday’s second game, Northern Berkshire Sports Academy defeated RicksKicks, 75-41.

 

Kollin Allard led NBSA with 28 points – 18 on 3-pointers. Adam Garner had 20 points and 11 boards, and Jeff Sprague scored 11 in the win.

 

For RicksKicks, Bob Malloy scored 16 points. Billy Galipea had 10 points, and Brian Boudreau had 10 boards.

 

Rounding out Tuesday’s triple-header, Field and Field General Contracting defeated Big Body Beamers, 60-55, behind Frank Field’s 31 points.

 

Qwanell Bradley had 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Jameson Coughlan finished with eight points and six boards in the win.

 

Big Body Beamers’ Amont David tied for game-high honors with 31 points and pulled down nine rebounds.

 

Darian Vidal and Sean Sumner finished with 10 and nine points, respectively, in the loss.
