There will be a variety of events in the Berkshires on this weekend including an artwalk, a festival, live music and more.

First Fridays Artswalk
Downtown Pittsfield 
Time: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
 
First Friday Artwalk returns this weekend. This year it is expanding with new programming including an Art Market on Dunham Mall, live music in Persip Park, and live art demonstrations.
 
The event features a dozen art shows and exhibits on view at venues around downtown Pittsfield. Most of the art is on display throughout July.
 
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to meet the artists. Download the Downtown Pittsfield Inc. app from the Google Play or App Store to get a virtual walking tour. 
 
Participating venues include Beacon Cinema, Berkshire Art Center, Clock Tower Artists, Hot Plate Brewing Co., Hotel on North, Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, and more.

Friday 
 
Acoustic Rock Show
Shire Beer Co., Dalton 
Time: 6:30 p.m.
 
New England rocker Livio Gravini will be performing classic rock hits and more. 
 
"His songwriting style reflects the classic feel for the culture found in this area, rich with blues, and rock 'n roll," his website states.

Saturday 
 
First Saturday Open Studio
Clock Tower Artists, Pittsfield
Time: 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.  
 
Walk around and explore the studios of various artists involved in the Clock Tower Artists collaborative. Meet the artists, and maybe even acquire a piece of artwork to take with you. More information here
 
Shire Prints Opening Reception 
Beacon Cinema and Hot Plate Brewing, Pittsfield 
Time: 5 until 8 p.m. 
 
Shire Prints will be launching their exhibit of vintage Berkshire prints at the Beacon Cinema. The prints were inspired by vintage matchbooks from iconic Berkshire landmarks.  There will be an open reception in Hot Plate Brewery's taproom. More information here
 
Tea Blending Workshops
12 Holden St., North Adams
Times: 10 a.m., 6 p.m.
 
Common Folk hosts Tina Louise of Boon Botanics for two hourlong herbal tea blending workshops each on Saturday and Sunday.

Kilashandra

The award-winning Celtic band performs at the lounge, 391 North St.

Pittsfield Parade Car Show
McKay Street, Pittsfield
Time: 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
 
There will be a wide variety of vehicles from hot rods to pickup trucks. The event includes a 50-50 raffle, music and food and requests donations to benefit the parade. All donations benefit the parade. More information here

The Western Massachusetts trio will be performing their music which combines their love of blues, soul, and rock. Information here
 
My Greylock Visitor Center Scavenger Hunt 
Mount Greylock Visitor Center, Lanesborough
Time: 10 until 3 p.m.

First Sunday of the month yoga with Berkshire Yoga Dance & Fitness. Outdoors, all levels welcome.

J Day Off Road Race Weekend
Whitney's Farm Market & Garden Center
Time: Friday: 3 until 11 p.m., Saturday: 9 a.m. until 11 p.m., Sunday: 6 a.m.
 
On Friday the center will kick off the festival with a bonfire and live entertainment that starts at 7 p.m. On Saturday there will be another bonfire, fishing at the pond, and a pump track for the kids. Sunday is race day. Throughout the weekend there will be a beer tent & a taco truck. More information here

Powered by Roots Rising, the market is open every Saturday rain or shine.
