NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Dave Wellington scored 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds Tuesday to lead Central Radio to a 70-66 win over Big Body Beamers in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.

 

Wellington was backed up by Seth Sehpard with 19 points in a B Division win for Central Radio.

 

Darian Vidal scored a game-high 24 points to lead Big Body Beamers, which got a double-double from Amont David, who had 15 points and 13 rebounds.

 

Matt Lizzo scored 11, and Sawyer Moser had 10 boards in the loss.

 

In Tuesday's second game, RicksKicks defeated McCann Tech, 53-44, behind Brian Boudreau's 15 points and nine rebounds.

 

Bob Malloy finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds for RicksKicks.

 

For McCann Tech, Walter Mazza scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed 10 boards. Jack Dolan scored 10 points.
