NEW YORK -- Noel Medina went 4-for-5 with a double Saturday to lead the MCLA baseball team to an 11-10 win over Yeshiva in a season-opening double-header win for the Trailblazers.

 

Taconic grad Austin Rachiele went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs in the win, which saw four MCLA pitchers combine to strike out 12.

 

In an 10-0 win, four Trailblazers struck out eight and allowed four hits.

 

Clarence Givhans went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles.

 

MCLA (2-0) is off until it goes to Florida for eight games starting March 10.
