NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — This year's Children's Fair & Races were moved to the North Adams Armory on Saturday because of the potential for rain. 

 

The fair offered a variety of activities and informational booths and was sponsored by the Northern Berkshire United Way and Youth Center Inc. in Cheshire. 

 

The races were run in age divisions of 9 or younger. The winners are: 

 

Tots: Age 3 and Younger

 

First place: Vivienne Greene; second place: Liam Brown; third place: Atticus Newell.

 

Preschool: Ages 4-5

 

First place: Jared Brown; second place: Dante Maselli; third place: Noah Bouthillette.

 

Peewee: Ages 6-7

 

First place: Judah Rogers; second place: Kyle Peterson; third place: Benjamin Wiessner. 

 

Junior: Ages 8-9

 

First place: Genevieve Greene; second place: Landon LaValley; third place: Isaac Zappula.
