WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. -- Clay Stearns went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs Monday to lead the Upper Valley Nighthawks to an 8-0 win over the North Adams SteepleCats in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.

 

Chris Lotito went five innings to earn the win on the mound, striking out five, and teamed with two other Upper Valley pitchers on a three-hitter.

 

North Adams (8-30) travels to Holyoke on Tuesday to face the Valley Blue Sox.
