SANFORD, Maine -- Cooper Omans Friday threw six scoreless innings to lead the North Adams SteepleCats to a 2-0 win over the Sanford Mainers.

 

Omans allowed three hits, walked two and struck out five.

 

Austin McKinney threw one inning of relief, and Will Hearn struck out three over the last two innings to earn the save.

 

Ryan Galanie went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a five-hit attack for North Adams, which travels to Bristol on Saturday.
