Drury High Staging Production of 'Alice in Wonderland'

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The Drury Stage Company will performing a version of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" this weekend.
 
Performances will take place on Friday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 11, at both 2 and 7 p.m.
 
The play is directed by teacher Liz Urban and features 15 Drury students from Grades 7 through 12 as well as a student production crew.
 
"Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" was written by Carroll in 1865 and is the story of a young girl who follows a white rabbit through a hole that takes her to an fantasy kingdom. In pursuit of the rabbit, she encounters the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire Cat and a host of other creatures. The book has never been out of print and has been adapted for a variety of media and frequently referenced in popular culture — movies, television, music and more. 
 
All performances will take place in the Performing Arts Center, at Drury High School, located at 1130 South Church St. 
 
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Tickets will be sold at the door. Masks are required at this event.
