BELCHERTOWN, Mass. -- The MCLA golf team wrapped up its 2021 fall campaign this afternoon in the final round of the Elms Invitational. The Trailblazers improved on their day one total, however they finished in 14th place.
The event was won by Tufts.
The Trailblazers showed improvement after a tough day one. Paul Roeder led all MCLA scorers with an 88. He was followed by Kolby Clegg's 91 and Brett Norman's 92. Max Gabrielly rounded out the scoring for MCLA.
The match was the final one for MCLA's Clegg, Norman, and Gabrielly.
Men's Cross Country
WESTFIELD, Mass. -- David Babineau placed 58th to lead MCLA to a ninth-place finish among 10 teams in the 8-kilometer race at Saturday's 25th annual James Earley Invitational.
Women's Cross Country
WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Domenica Gomez placed 61st Saturday to lead MCLA to a seventh-place showing in the 5-kilometer race at the James Earley Invitational.
Women's Soccer
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Hoosac Valley graduate Claudia Bresett scored a goal, but visiting Framingham State scored the next two to take a 2-1 win over MCA on Sautrday.
Jillian Currier made 12 stops for the Trailblazers (0-9-1, 0-3-1 MASCAC), who go to Fitchburg State on Saturday.
Men's Soccer
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Framingham State's Ibrahim Kyeyune scored early in the second half to give his team a 1-0 win over MCLA on Saturday.
Mount Greylock graduate Sam Edge stopped four shots for the Trailblazers (3-6-1, 2-2), who go to Albany College of Pharmacy on Tuesday.
