NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Gabe Dias scored in the 83rd minute Tuesday to give the MCLA men's soccer team a 1-1 tie with Union.

 

The Dutchmen scored in the 73rd minute to break a scoreless tie.

 

But 10 minutes later, Hoosac Valley graduate Colin Rousseau set up Dias for the qualizer.

 

Mount Greylock graduate Sam Edge made 10 saves in the Trailblazers' goal.

 

MCLA (1-4-1) hosts Westfield State on Friday.

 

Volleyball

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- New England College outscored MCLA, 15-13, in the fifth set to earn a 3-2 win on Tuesday night.

 

Chloe Garber recorded 19 kills to lead MCLA, which got three kills from Wahconah graduate Kelsey LaFreniere.

 

MCLA (4-3) hosts Massachusetts Maritime on Saturday.
