NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — All Saints Episcopal Church will be the host site of the Annual Northern Berkshire Community Electronic Recycling & Paper Shredding Event on Saturday, Sept. 25. 

 

This event will be held at the Steeple City Plaza parking lot adjacent to All Saints Episcopal Church from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M.

 

Electronic recycling of all types of small, medium and large electronics and appliances will be accepted.

 

Disposal fees will be between $5 and $15 for most electronics, $20 to $25 for appliances, and $20 to $40 for TV's, fee depending on the size and type of TV.  Items accepted for recycling include computers, monitors, laptops, phones, air conditioners, microwaves, TVs and kitchen appliances.

Paper shredding by the truck, bag, box, or handful will be on site with a state-of-the art mobile shredding truck by Pro Shred, Inc. of Wilbraham. The shredding process can be monitored via a closed -circuit monitor. 

 

A free-will (voluntary) donation is asked for paper shredding. Paper shredding will be From 10 A.M. to 1 P.M.

 

All proceeds will support the capital projects, programs and ministries of All Saints Episcopal Church.

 

This is the 11th annual Community Electronic & Recycling Event with a one-year interruption last year due to the pandemic.

 

The Northern Berkshire Electronic Recycling & Paper Shredding Event is open to all residents, schools and businesses in North Adams, Adams, Williamstown, and surrounding communities.

 

During the outside event, masks are voluntary and social distancing is encouraged. Payment by cash, personal or business check.
