NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Chloie Garber recorded 20 kills Saturday to lead the MCLA volleyball team to a five-set win over Utica.

 

Wahconah graduate Kelsey LaFreniere had 10 kills for the Trailblazers (2-1), who prevailed by scores of 25-14, 25-27, 26-24, 14-25, 15-10, to earn a split in their two games on Saturday.

 

Earlier in the day, Norwich handed MCLA a three-set loss.

 

The Trailblazers host Framingham State on Tuesday.

 

Men’s Cross Country

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. -- David Babineau placed 31st out of 72 runners to lead MCLA to a seventh-place finish at the Smith College Invitational.

 

Women’s Cross Country

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. -- Brooke DiGennaro finished 55th out of 68 finishers to lead the MCLA women to an eighth-place finish at the Smith Invitational.
