NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Jeremy Lea went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles Thursday to lead the North Adams SteepleCats to a 6-2 win over the Vermont Mountaineers in the New England Collegiate Baseball League.

 

Lea drove in three runs and raised his batting average to .313 this summer in the win.

 

John Kozarian went 3-for-4 with a double, and John Marti went 2-for-4 in a 10-hit North Adams attack.

 

Wilfrido Valenzuela got the win on the mound, going five innings and striking out three.

 

North Adams (13-11-2) is home on Friday night against Keene at Joe Wolfe Field.
