Adams Aces Earn Walkoff Win, Stay Perfect in BABL

ADAMS, Mass. -- John Yetto delivered a walkoff single in the bottom of the seventh on Sunday as the Adams Aces came from behind to beat Dalton, 3-2, and stay unbeaten in the Berkshire Adult Baseball League's 35-year-old division.
 
Dalton took a lead in the top of the fourth with RBIs by Steve Kisiel and Jeff Aldrich.
 
In the bottom of the seventh, Matt Ziter started the winning rally with a one-out double. Gary Munson then walked.
 
Dan Corbett's double scored Ziter but Munson was thrown out on the play to give Dalton a 2-1 lead with two out.
 
An error scored Corbett to tie it and put one man on for Yetto, who drove in the winning run.
 
Cory Hillard earned the win on the mound, outdueling Jarrett Bayliss.
 
The first-place Aces improved to 9-0 this summer while Dalton slipped to 4-5.
 
Greenridge Gremlins 13, Pittsfield Pirates 9
The Gremlins overcame deficits of 6-0 and 9-6 to make a winner of reliever Jermaine Sistrunk, who allowed two earned runs in six innings.
 
Sistrunk also had a two-run single in a four-run sixth for the Gremlins. Eric Potash went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in, and Bill Kitler was 2-for-3 with an RBI.
 
Johnny Goodnow went 2-for-2 at the plate for the Pirates.
 
Tunnel City Freight 8, North County Spiders 6
Nate Feder had a pair of hits and drove in three runs for TCF, which got a 2-for-4 day at the plate from Jon Boucher and a pair of RBIs from Jared Martin.
 
Jim Ciepela earned the win on the mound with a save from Feder.
 
Jeremy Brazeau led the Spiders on offense, going 2-for-3 with an RBI.
 
20-Year-Old Division
BBA 4, Great Barrington Millers 2
BBA scored four runs in the top of the eighth after a classic pitchers duel through seven.
 
Mike Massery, Rich Dumas and Zach Zerbato each had a hit in the winning rally.
 
Great Barrington rallied with two in the bottom of the eighth and had runners on second and third with one out. But Hunter Potash struck out the next hitter and got the final out on a fly ball to end the game.
 
Starting pitcher Brooks Belter and Joe Gratton combined to strike out 20 batters between them.
 
Housatonic River Monsters 11, Devils 1
Ben Snow went 3-for-4, and Kevin Robinson went 2-for-3 for the River Monsters. Tyler Wade and Jared Blondin each drove in a pair of runs.
 
Wade allowed two hits in four shutout innings to earn the win on the mound.
 
Tyler Heeter, Wyatt Heeter, Mike Carnevale and Cam Anderson each had a hit for the Devils.
