NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Mason Hull hit a solo homer in the bottom of the seventh Sunday to lead the North Adams SteepleCats to a 1-0 win over Vermont at Joe Wolfe Field.

 

Hull crushed a 1-1 pitch with one out over the fence to provide the game's only offense.

 

Kaleb Sophy earned the win on the mound with four innings of two-hit relief of starter Landon Willeman. The pair combined to strike out seven Mountaineers.

 

North Adams (10-8-2) is home on Monday at 6:30 p.m. against Winnipesaukee, N.H.
