	The Berkshire Americans 14-and-under travel baseball team went 3-0 over the weekend with a trio of wins in New York. 
	  
	On Saturday, Noah DeBenedetto drove in the winning run with the score tied, 8-8, in the bottom of the seventh as the Americans beat the Twin Town Warriors 13-plus team, 9-8, in Ballston Spa. 
	  
	Josh Worthington went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in the win. 
	  
	Mike Szabo was 2-for-4 with a double, and Collin Booth registered two hits and a pair of RBIs. 
	  
	Lukas Rylander got the win on the mound with one inning of scoreless relief, striking out one and not allowing a base-runner. 
	  
	Booth and Nick Gilman split the first six innings, combining to strike out nine. 
	  
	The Americans played a double-header on Sunday in Troy. 
	  
	In the opener, it was another nail-biter, but the Americans prevailed, 5-4, over the NE Hurricanes 14-year-olds. 
	  
	Worthington threw an inning of scoreless relief in the seventh to shut down a two-run rally and get the save for starter Gilman, who struck out six in six innings of work. 
	  
	DeBenedetto went 2-for-3 at the plate, and Worthington doubled in the victory. 
	  
	The Americans wrapped up the weekend with an 8-4 win over the Frozen Ropes Outlaws. 
	  
	Berkshire worked five third-inning walks in a four-run rally that opened up a 7-2 lead. 
	  
	Booth drove in a pair of runs, and Jacob Howland stole two bases in the win. 
	  
	Booth also went the distance on the mound, striking out five. 
	  
	The Americans evened their season record at 9-9 with the perfect weekend. |
