KINDERHOOK, N.Y. — The Adams seventh- and eighth-grade girls travel basketball team claimed its third tournament title of the season, and the Lenox 5/6 girls also finished first at the Kinderhook Spring Classic.
The Adams girls went 5-0 on the weekend and won a hard fought final with yet another great defensive team effort.
Up next for Adams is the Berkshire County tournament. The girls will then wrap up their season with the program's annual trip to the Cape.
The Lenox girls went undefeated through their bracket and topped St. Jude’s, 41-28, in the finals to claim the first place trophy.
The Lenox team participates in two more tournaments before the season is over. The Berkshire County tournament in North Adams is this weekend, and the Busnengo tournament being held in Cape Cod next weekend.
