NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Anthony Charles Costa, 82, of 102 Lincoln St. died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in North Adams on May 18, 1930, son of Nicola and Catherine L. Waters Costa, he attended North Adams schools.
Mr. Costa retired after many years of service as a maintenance engineer at North Adams Regional Hospital.
He was a communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church. He was loved by all.
He leaves many nieces and nephews, including David Anthony Costa of North Adams.
He was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters: Nicola "Nick" Costa, George Costa, Frank Costa, Catherine "Kitty" Costa Exner, and Jennie Costa Casey.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Costa will be Friday, Feb. 8, at 10:15 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Thursday, Feb. 7, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
