NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Juanita Mae Hawley, 83, of 611 State Road, Holy Family Terrace, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Grosse Point, Mich., on Feb. 8, 1929, daughter of Joseph and Evangeline Jones Watson, she attended schools in Detroit. She moved to North Adams about 15 years ago.
Her husband, Charles W. Hawley, whom she married in 1977, died in 1988.
She leaves four sons, Roy Heaton of Exeter, R.I., Clifford Heaton of Ware, Clayton Heaton of Middletown, Del., and Gary Heaton of Cincinnati; a sister, Joanne Carleton of Palm City, Fla.; six grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Her sister Mary Morea is deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Hawley will be celebrated Friday October 19, 2012, at 11 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
