NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Katherine Minnie Fletcher, 92, of 85 Eagle St. died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Westfield, N.Y., on Oct. 20, 1919, a daughter of George and Grace Hazleton Reynolds, she attended schools in Brockton, N.Y. She moved to North Adams in 1957.
Mrs. Fletcher was employed at the former Wall-Streeter Shoe Co. and then as an aide at the former Adams Nursing Home. Her last employment was with the Berkshire Child Care of North Adams. She was first employed as a housekeeper for several attorneys in the area of Silver Creek, N.Y.
She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church.
She leaves her good friends, Stephen and Beverly Alcombright, and nieces, nephews and grandnieces and -nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family of three sisters and five brothers.
FUNERAL NOTICE — At Mrs. Fletcher's request, graveside services will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m. in Southview Cemetery, North Adams.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to North Adams Ambulance Service through Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
