NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Kathleen Jean Winters, 67, of 150 Ashland St. died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at her home.
Born in Peekskill, N.Y., on Jan. 16, 1945, a daughter of Reginald and Emanuela Carano Winters, she attended schools in Peekskill.
Ms. Winters was last employed at IBM.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Her husband, Clifford R. Shaw Sr., whom she married in 1964, died Sept. 27, 2009.
She leaves include a daughter, Emanuela "Josie" Bunt of North Adams; a son, Benedict Shaw; a brother, Joseph Winters of Wingate, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Her son Clifford R. Shaw Jr., daughter Kathleen Shaw and sisters Eileen and Regina are deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A memorial service for Ms. Winters will take place Thursday, Aug. 2, at 1:30 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
A calling hour will be held Thursday from 12:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the funeral home.
