NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Joseph R. Unis, 50, of 322 State St. died Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, N.H.
Born in North Adams on June 10, 1961, a son of Isabelle Biskup Unis of North Adams and the late Fayese Unis, he attended schools in North Adams.
Mr. Unis was employed in the retail industry for several years.
Besides his mother, he leaves one sister, Donna Tatro and her husband, David, of Stamford, Vt.; two nephews, David Tatro and Nathan Tatro, and an uncle, Everett Unis of North Adams.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Unis will take place Thursday, May 24, at 9:45 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Wednesday evening, May 23, from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, N.H. through the funeral home, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
