NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — William A. "Lumpy" Martin, 45, of 522 Union St. died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield after a yearlong battle with cancer.
Born in North Adams on July 6, 1966, a son of William and Patricia LaCross Martin, he attended Drury High School.
Mr. Martin was employed as a roofer for several companies in the area.
He enjoyed artwork, motorcycles and fishing.
He leaves his wife, the former Lisa Denise Daniels, whom he married June 7, 2003; a daughter, Shalee Martin of North Adams; a stepson, Matthew Daniels of North Adams; a brother, Rick Gilbert of Worcester, and a sister, Robin Newcomb of Worcester.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Martin will take Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will take place at a later date.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 until the time of the service. Memorial donations are suggested through the funeral home.
