NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Donald L. Belanger, 65, of 81 Hathaway St. died Sunday, July 31, 2011, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in North Adams on June 29, 1946, a son of George and Ruth Booth Belanger, he attended schools in North Adams.
Mr. Belanger was employed at Pittsfield Mold & Tool and was last employed for 20 years at Michael Deep & Associates in North Adams.
He and his wife, the former Jeannette Lemelin, were married May 30, 1964.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Lisa Cahill and her husband, Wesley, of Williamstown; two sons, David Belanger and his wife, Kathleen, and Donald Belanger and his wife, Trista, all of North Adams; a brother, George E. Belanger of Pownal, Vt.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Another brother died in infancy.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Belanger will take place Thursday, Aug. 4, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, Aug. 3, from to 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested for the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire through the funeral home.
