NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Karol E. Zielonko Sr., 79, of 33 Central Ave. died Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Resident Care of Framingham.
Born in France on March 21, 1932, a son of Jozef and Staniswava Pruszinovska Zielonko, he attended schools in Gdynia, Poland.
He was an Army veteran.
Mr. Zielonko was employed at the former Monroe Paper and the International Paper companies for many years.
His wife, the former Jacqueline Haley, whom he married May 28, 1960, in the former St. Francis' Church, died July 27, 2005.
He leaves two sons, Karol E. Zielonko Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Needham and Stefan Zielonko and his wife, Laura, of Hinsdale, N.H., and three grandchildren, Stefan, Theresa and Matthew.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Graveside services for Mr. Zielonko will be Wednesday, July 6, at 11 at the family plot in Southview Cemetery. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, is in care of arrangements.
