NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Radegonda Mary "Goldie" Baruzzi, 94, formerly of Brooklyn Street, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Sweet brook Care Centers in Williamstown.
Born in North Adams on July 31, 1916, a daughter of James and Mary Balduzzi Minazzoli, she attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School.
In her younger years, Mrs. Baruzzi was employed as a medical assistant to the late Dr. Irving Selsby in North Adams for many years, until she retired. She had earlier worked at various businesses in North Adams, including former The Style Shoppe, H.W. Clark Biscuit, Jarisch Paper Box and Sprague Electric companies.
She was a communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church.
She leaves several cousins, including Dorothy Silverman of North Adams.
FUNERAL HOME — Graveside services for Mrs. Baruzzi will be held Monday, April 11, at 2:30 p.m. at the family plot in Southview Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice through Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Funeral Home, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
