NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — June Jeannette DiGennaro, 85, of 611 State Road, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Harbor View Beach, Ohio, on March 25, 1925, daughter of Francis and Vera Matthewson Anspach, she attended schools in Tolede, Ohio.
Mrs. DiGennaro was employed as a clinical aide at North Adams Regional Hospital for many years.
She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. She enjoyed knitting and especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She leaves three sons, James DiGennaro of Adams, Michael DiGennaro of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. and Thomas DiGennaro of Dalton; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, including Geralyn and Ralph Lesure Jr. of North Adams.
One sister and two brothers are deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. DiGennaro will be celebrated Thursday, Dec. 2, at 9 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA 01247.
