NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — JoAnn Saltamartini, 54, of 89 Liberty St. died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at her home.
Born in North Adams on Oct. 14, 1956, daughter of Raymond and Ruth Dupee LaFrance, she graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1975.
Ms. Saltamartini was employed at North Adams Regional Hospital for the past 35 years.
She enjoyed boating and playing with her dogs. She was a fan of the New England Patriots, New York Yankees and Boston Celtics.
She leaves a daughter, Kristine McGrath and her husband, Sean, of North Adams; her companion, Jessey Deitner, with whom she resided; three brothers, Thomas LaFrance and his wife, Ramona, of Manchester, Conn., Kerry LaFrance and his wife, Patti, of Adams, and Raymond LaFrance; a sister, Kate Desormeaux and her husband, Thomas, of Adams, two grandchildren, Kayla and Megan, and nieces and nephews.
Another brother, Dennis LaFrance, is deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Ms. Saltamartini will be held Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
