NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — John Frommer Aldrich, 81, of 243 Mohawk Forest Blvd. died Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, at North Adams Commons.
Born in Adams on Aug. 11, 1929, son of Perley and Elizabeth Frommer Aldrich, he graduated from the former Adams High School.
Mr. Aldrich was employed as a draftsman at the former Sprague Electric Co. for many years.
His wife, the former Mary C. Meranti, whom he married on Aug. 15, 1960, died on April 13, 2006.
He leaves a son, John B. Aldrich of North Adams, and a grandson, John P. Aldrich of North Adams.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Aldrich will be private. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Adams Ambulance Service in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
