NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Michael P. Peltier, 38, of 522 West Shaft Road, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in North Adams on Oct. 22, 1971, a son of Dolores Galeano Peltier and the late James Peltier, he graduated in 1989 from Mount Greylock Regional High School in Williamstown.
Mr. Peltier was employed by several restaurants in the area.
He was a member of Berkshire County Line Dancers and enjoyed heavy metal music.
Besides his mother, he leaves his wife, the former Kathleen Hutchinson, whom he married in 1996; a brother, Steven Peltier and his wife, Denise, of Williamstown; a niece, Cassandra Peltier; a nephew, Sean Peltier; a grandmother, Gloria Peltier; and his mother-in-law, Peggy Hutchinson.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Peltier will take place Thursday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams.
There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested for the National Organization of Rare Disorders through the funeral home.

I worked with Mike for several years at Hobson's Choice. I'll never forget how happy he was when he met Kathleen. My condolences to the family.
