NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Henry J. Wright Sr., 72, of 150 Ashland St. died at Williamstown Commons on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010.
Born in North Adams on March 26, 1938, a son of Henry S. Wright Sr. and Vera Kent Thomas Wright Green, he attended city schools.
Mr. Wright was employed at the former Stanley's Lumber, Arnold Print Works and, lastly, as a bus driver for the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority.
He is survived by a daughter, Penny Wright Burke of Saratoga Spring, N.Y.; a son, Henry J. Wright Jr. of Cave Creek, Ariz.; a brother, Clifton "Sonny" Thomas of the state of Florida; a sister, Shirley Goodell of North Bennington, Vt., five grandchildren and his former wife of 43 years, Janice Novak Wright of Adams.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Thomas and Donald Wright Sr., and a sister, Nancy Cozzaglio.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Wright will be Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 10:15 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 5 to 8 at the funeral home.
