NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Eva Mildred Ferris, 96, of 150 Ashland St. died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at her home.
Born in North Adams on July 30, 1914, daughter of Eugenio and Julia Barbieri Arrighini, she attended local schools.
Mrs. Ferris worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. for 40 years until her retirement in 1976.
Her husband, William Abraham Ferris, whom she married on Sept. 24, 1958, died on March 23, 1997.
Survivors include a brother, Eugene Arrighini, of North Adams, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Two sisters, Ada Canale and Angela Carleton, are deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Services for Mrs. Ferris will be private. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
