Catherine Lepera

Catherine May Lepera, 66, of Ashland Street died Friday morning at Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown after a long illness.
Born in North Adams on March 23, 1935, daughter of Isadora and Eleanor May Buchanan Lepera, she attended schools in Providence, R.I., where was a 1953 graduate of Mary Immaculate High School.
Miss Lepera was employed by the former Bacon's Dairy Bar in Williamstown and later worked in the human services field in North Berkshire.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church and an avid reader. She will be remembered as a very kind woman who regularly donated to charities for orphaned children. Survivors include two very close friends, Linda Larabee of Clarksburg and attorney Edward Bona of Rocky Hill, Conn.
At the request of Catherine, there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will take place in the family lot in Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown. If friends desire, contributions in memory of Catherine May Lepera may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of North Adams through HOPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 61-67 Spring St., Williamstown, MA 01267.
